When I was still in elementary, every year during summer vacation, me and my grandmother always went to my parents hometown to spend our vacation. Llorente is a City that can be found in the eastern part of Samar, an island in the Visayas region of the Philippines. Since my grandmother wasn't the adventurous type, we just always spent time with my family in the usual places that can be found in Llorente like the Tongkip Beach. After my grandmother passed away, I wasn't able to visit my parents hometown until the year 2010. But during that time, I was hesitant to go outside because I don't want my skin to get burned. But this new year is way different from the past years. Every year I noticed na paunti na ng paunti ang nagpapaputok tuwing new year's eve. I just don't know if it's because of growing economic crisis o dahil nagiging aware na ang mga tao about the use of fireworks and firecrackers. Though every year naman ay laging may advisory sa T.V na mag-ingat sa paggamit ng paputok, it was only this year that the government actually implemented some restrictions for fireworks and firecrackers usage. Ngayon, may mga certain types lang ng paputok na pwede sa mga residential area, habang m...
